Pathology Management
Lab registration, structured results and online reports.
Record every imaging study against the patient’s registration, with the investigation, reporting doctor and film usage, and print or share radiology reports from one list.
In daily use at Darbhanga Medical College & Hospital since 2024
Radiology management software records what an imaging department does: which investigation was performed for which patient, who reported it, what the findings were, and what consumables such as films were used.
In Swastik HMS, radiology reports are recorded against the patient’s hospital registration, so imaging sits alongside their OPD visit, lab reports and admission.
Catalogue, reporting and film usage in one module.
Radiology reports are recorded against the patient’s registration, with the investigation, reporting doctor and film usage captured for every study.
Departments, doctors, and investigations with units and sub-units.
Patient, reporting doctor, investigation and whether the patient is OPD or IPD.
Number of films and film size recorded for each study.
Print, correct or remove reports from a single list.
The patient arrives with their hospital registration number.
The investigation is chosen from the department’s catalogue.
The number of films and film size used are recorded.
The reporting doctor’s findings are recorded for the OPD or IPD patient.
The report prints from the browser.
The report becomes an ABDM care context the patient can link.
Films are a recurring cost in every imaging department. Recording the number of films and film size against every study lets the department reconcile consumption with stock and spot unusual usage, instead of estimating at the end of the month.
The standard module covers the investigation catalogue, report entry, film usage and the report register. Image storage and viewing (PACS/DICOM) and direct integration with imaging machines are not part of the standard module; they can be integrated through custom development. Cardiology cases are recorded in the separate cardiology register.
Each radiology report becomes an ABDM care context automatically, and can be shared as a FHIR imaging diagnostic report with the patient’s consent. See ABDM integration.
Swastik HMS is integrated with ABDM for milestone M1 (ABHA) and milestone M2 (Health Information Provider): ABHA at the counter, automatic care contexts for visits, admissions and reports, and consent-based sharing of encrypted FHIR records.
Create and verify ABHA numbers, log patients in with ABHA, and register them with Scan & Share.
Visits, admissions and reports become records patients link to their ABHA and share with consent.
Doctors linked to the Health Professional Registry and the facility to the Health Facility Registry.
Imaging reports sit on the same record as visits and lab results.
Investigations, units and sub-units maintained centrally.
Film count and size recorded for every study.
Reports split by patient type.
Reports print from the browser on any printer.
Imaging reports shareable with consent.
Lab registration, structured results and online reports.
Registration, daily tokens, room rotation and waiting-hall displays.
Admissions, casualty, procedures and discharge outcomes.
